Impressive/Unimpressive: Richmond’s Rumble

May 5, 2008

Joe Jacobs - SCR

Impressive:

Denny Hamlin: I know the winner usually goes first but leading 380 of 400 laps is extremely impressive. Hamlin really wants to win a Cup race at Richmond but like all drivers one must have the heartbreak before they have the rewards. He was beaten but kept his head up some how. I would imagine he made some fans as well.

Clint Boyer: Great run finally paid off, he did not back in to the win, he had a fast car all night and got the win due to circumstances. He had a car at the end that was fast enough to win the race and a win is a win.

Kyle Busch: Yes I am saying Kyle Busch, and ill tell you why, he did not do anything wrong and I am going to stand up for him. He did what anyone would do with three laps to go… GO FOR THE WIN. Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fought over the same area of real estate and Earnhardt got the rough side of it. I think his fans are passionate but they need to lighten up. Its racing things will happen. The accident was not intentional and Busch did what Joe Gibbs Racing pays him to do, go for the win. Can you hate him for that?
