Marcos Ambrose
- Ambrose led most of the Busch race Saturday and had a win stole from him. Spun out and still finishing in the top ten and
after it all he still had a positive attitude after the race and was smiling through the pain of defeat, and that is what’s
impressive.
Jimmie Johnson
- Johnson finished in the top five and possibly stopped the bleeding and the free fall. The team needed that to regain their
momentum before they fell out of the chase. They get their leader back in two weeks so look for the 48 team to try to hold
their position and wait for their leader to return them to glory.
Unimpressive:
Robby Gordon
- Gordon not listening to NASCAR, taking out the leader of the race after being black flagged. Doing a burnout and trying
to go to victory lane was a bone head move. You can not tell me he actually thought he won after he was black flagged.
I have supported Robby Gordon
for what he does as an owner/driver. And in all honesty Gordon probably should have restarted second, he was second from what
I could tell when the caution came out. But that does not fix the race he stole from Marcos Ambrose.
ESPN Draft Track
- It is probably the worst feature there has ever been on an auto racing broadcast. It’s not real; it makes the cars
look like they are on fire. They are pushing it like it’s the greatest thing ever, and they force it in to the conversation.
